Let's be honest it's not there to benefit customers, it's there to benefit shareholders by taking on a tender and binning off the 352 in the process. The 353/354/355 interworking wouldn't work without it as the driver hours would be too low.

The route is a complete mess if you ask me and people at the Eastern side are going to be punished by the mess around Haddrick's Mill for no benefit at all as they'll never be anywhere near it.
