Mind an average 30 mph is quick compared to a lot of the routes they're on up here.

The 63 has one section where the bus gets up to 50MPH (off peak) lucky to get upto 30MPH at peak time for a whole of 2 miles with a stop in the middle where the bus comes off the road, the rest of the route struggles to get above 20MPH with traffic, junctions, roundabouts and stopping at every stop. Couple this with the operating length of most 63 boards being very similar to other operators using electrics pushes people working on buses in the Teesside area to think there may be other plans for the depots across Teesside…..
