A major fire has broken out at 2 units adjacent to JH Coaches depot in Birtley
Durham Road between Vigo Lane and Harras Bank is closed in both directions and the East Coast mainline has also been impacted
JH Statement below:
Due to a serious ongoing fire/emergency in the vicinity of our depot (not within our premises), our phone lines and emails are temporarily unavailable as we prioritise the safety of our staff and support emergency services in the area.
We will respond to all enquiries as soon as it is safe and appropriate to do so, and normal operations can resume.
