Whether it's the 1, 97, 301A, 60, 21 or whatever number is irrelevant. The discussion is why there's one random bus in the morning starting at Sunniside when the route doesn't go anywhere near it and the bus has to run from outside the Metrocentre anyway so there's no operational benefits doing so. I'm sure the section from the Metrocentre to Whickham would appreciate an extra bus in the morning and it's literally not using any resources to do so.

No i ain't. Im just confused on why you are debating this being a journey. If gne didn't see fit to run it it would be withdrawn. Clearly there is a demand for this service. As stated above maybe its to use for other services before they start. 

Maybe someone at that part of the route it starts at gets on there and they need that service. 

What would a service that time in the morning starting from Metrocentre benefit. Think about it
