Hi, I’m new to this forum but very pleased to have found it. Sorry I’m a bit late to the party lol. I was at the MetroCentre gathering this year and was a bit disappointed, it didn’t have such a good vibe as previously. However I didn’t see any troublesome youngsters when I was there and I haven’t seen the video of misbehaviour on the bus. There weren’t many vehicles open for people to have a look inside, and fewer stalls to browse at, so some people might of found that a bit boring. Last year I remember seeing a stall selling bus stop signs and ticket machines, some teenage lads were buying a ticket machine and parts and I asked what they were going to do with it and they said, we’re going to get it working. I thought this was impressive on a number of levels. Anyway the whole show is pretty low key, come and go as you like, no upselling or razzmatazz and that’s kinda nice to have nowadays especially for those who can experience sensory overload.
