- Operating Every 15 Minutes Monday to Saturday, Every 30 Minutes on Sundays.
- Existing Service 24 extended to Whitley Bay via Cobalt and North Shields/Tynemouth and Re-Numbered X4/X5.
- Providing Business, Leisure and Coastal Links
- Restores links from the long lost past of the 80's to early 00's
See I'd be more radical here and merge it with a whole load of subsidised services and the 9. Something like:
It's not far off being PVR neutral either considering this is replacing the 9 (PVR 4), 19 (PVR 3), 58 (PVR 1), 319 (PVR 1) and 306 (PVR 2) - believe it would be 1 bus with loads of new links ie:
- South of the Tyne to Cobalt
- Cramlington to New Hartley / Seaton Sluice
- New Hartley to Seaton Sluice / Whitley Bay
- Whitley Bay / Tynemouth to North Shields Ferry
- Sandy Lane / Wideopen to Killingworth
- Seaton Delaval / Seghill to Killingworth
- Seaton Sluice and Blyth to Tynemouth
- Tynemouth to Cobalt Central
- Loads of places to Cramlington Hospital
If marketed well could see it picking a few people up here and there personally. The 19 North of Cobalt, is doing quite well recently.
