It replaced respected routes for years, in a company which had brands for specific routes, so people can tell what the bus is by the brand rather than the number, similar to the likes of TrentBarton. The Red Arrows and Red Kite, in particular, were much more superior brands.
Transdev has the right approach with the likes of Witchway, if we we're keeping brands, with it's SkyClass which was advertised instead.
I know someone will say it's because it's the quickest route from A to B, but they weren't, and either way how on earth is anyone meant to know that from 'X-Lines'...?
