if you have any knowledge about vehicles....
say have a brand new fleet of "branded" 21 Angel or X10 dedicated to the route after 30k miles the same parts will sadly fail
like a timing belt on a car to be changed every 60k miles
if you have 12 or 15 brand new buses all doing the same route the mileage will be similar so when it comes to the milestones they fail or need to be sorted out...
interestingly in a petrol/ diesel car there is 200 different moving parts
in an electric there is about 20
True. But B9TLs 6043-48 allocated on the X9/X10 (before the route as split meaning Tachographs) as well as the E400MMCs have both had it hard due to lack of suitable spares and fleet rotation.
The B5TLs actually had it easier but ended up spending half the time off the road being bailed out ironically by 6043-48 as well as 6071-83
IMO, the next decker order for Riverside should cover the 10/10A/10B/12, X10, X21. Either higher rated Cummins Ultroliners, or lobby Volvo to create a bi-axile B8TL!
