10(601)/10A(602)/10B(603)
12(604)/12A(605)/12B(606)
Bit like what they've done on North Tyneside where old route numbers have been reverted to, nothing stopping GNE doing the same in other areas
49(648)/49A(649)
67(638)/69(639)
But hey, thats just me
Nah no arguments, I was thinking it but then thought the 10 needs to be the 602 and the 12B needs to be the 604 as they basically are what they were and this is going down a rabbit hole.
Truthfully though I'd probably number the 12's as express routes, they pretty much are an express route anyway since it's the 'fast' route to Newcastle from Blaydon rather than going via the Metrocentre which at Christmas time is a big difference.
Could maybe do the below?
12: X600
10A: 601
12A: X601
10: 602
12B: X602
10B: 603
