Truthfully though I'd probably number the 12's as express routes, they pretty much are an express route anyway since it's the 'fast' route to Newcastle from Blaydon rather than going via the Metrocentre which at Christmas time is a big difference.

I'd number your express 12B to X64 if you want the 12B to be the 604
