R.I.P Andrew
Such sad news especially at this time of year, thoughts are with family, friend and colleagues he worked with at this time.
In the few occasions I spoke to him whether that be a Bus Rally or we just generally bumped into one another out and about he was always kind and a good for a natter about all things buses and even trains.
The last time I seen him was back in June at the Beamish Festival Of Transport and he looked well and in very good spirits, he noted when we were talking the vintage buses weren't coming round as frequently as normal and from speaking to the person in charge they said it was due to a lack of volunteer drivers, Andrew was very keen to help out and I kid you not within an hour he was out and about driving Sunderland Corporations (WBR 248) around and clearly living his best life.
