340 341 Hadrian Park Circular
340 Wallsend up Station Road around Wiltshire Drive then left onto Station Road up to Whitley Road (Range) turn right to Benton Asda swing a left to benton Industrial estate creating a bus stop link for Palmersville Metro then into Holystone Estate up to Northumberland Park Metro through Cobalt straight down to silverlink (mcd) then onto Coast road and back off to go round the loop at Hadrian Park Battlehill Drive High Farm Mullen Road around Wiltshire Drive back to Wallsend
341 Wallsend up to Wiltshire Drive Loop then straight ahead onto Mullen road and do the route in an anti clockwise direction.
350 351 can be scrapped with links to Newcastle via Metro or changing at Station Road or Wallsend new links to Northumberland Park Metro Asda still being served by the service new links to Cobalt and shops. Wiltshire Drive gets a link to Silverlink and cinema
Aye, could do. To be honest, the whole area just needs someone to start again and do the whole lot again bar the Coast Road services.
How you do it, and what you do there's probably lots of arguments but they need to remove the buses which are terminating in the middle of no-where like the 18, 335, 340, 341, 355; services which just avoid everything like the 19 and 319; services which are just way too long with no benefits for being long like the 342; and the W2 - why does this exist?. Not to mention most are too infrequent, being hourly like the 353.
Other than the 57, 57A and 317, most the local services are a bit crap really, the doubling back at ASDA just being a prime example of it. There's a reason why most of them are being subsidised imo and the lack of Metro integration is a serious problem aswell.
It would help if they actually asked where people want to go aswell, as I've never been asked.
