With Northumberland Park acting as the hub if you want to go further - I'd even go as far as making both every 20 minutes.
Once you've done that you can utilise the Coast Road services to serve the further out areas with the 355 withdrawn since the 38 and the Orange route cover the corridor.
Arguably all the Red X's are places where people might want to go for shopping or employment and stuff like Silverlink is inaccessible from somewhere like Mullen Road currently.
The other half of the 351, also being culled at Northumberland Park - with people changing onto the train or Metro to Newcastle.
Dave's idea isnt far off of what was the 313/314 from the yesteryears, you could also reintroduce the 322/323
