RE: X-Lines Network
(21 Feb 2026, 10:16 pm)X919 WGR wrote Yeah they went all out when it came to the Cobalts refurbishment. They should of done this for the Leather Seated X-Lines vehicles or even do what they did with the Bishops and just retrim the seats to match the standard of the newer vehicles.

Also I think there would of been more refurbishments if it weren't for Covid because I feel like the CityRider Geminis would of got that treatment but instead got the Retriming of the Seats

Yeah agreed about COVID, hopefully see some refurbishments in the future, some of the eleather examples, especially on the 17/67 Plate B5TL's/Streetdeck's are looking awfully tatty these days. Especially considering they've got a logo which doesn't exist anymore.

Unsure whether they were ever removed the board games on the tables as they were a mess aswell.

On paper, it's the ideal time really, send them away and give them a proper refurbishment and repaint. Since the floors etc are pretty much new GoAhead spec anyway they shouldn't really be that much work really, just a quick retrim and potential repaint of some of the blue panelling. Potentially even remove the tables as they're a waste of space if they're going to Percy Main.

Mind speaking of the Cobalts, I always wonder if some manager went on them and designed the whole groups interior around it. As far as I can tell, bar the new seat design, it is the new interior give or take (black panels, light grey handrails, same flooring etc.)
