I'd say they've had the easiest lives out of all the original GNE B9TL stock to be fair.
The StreetDecks would be absolutely fine on the 307 & 309 pottering around in High Farm, Hadrian Park, West Chirton, North Shields, Chirton Grange and Whitley Bay.
Given the Links Road has a reduced speed limit for part of it now, the only real fast parts would be Station Road > Benfield Rd, Blyth Rd and the occasional X39 trip.
