My issue with TaxiBuses is they don't deliver good value for money - in the case of most routes (take the TB14 for example) it would actually be cheaper to give users a taxi credit as opposed to awarding the contract (taking into account the adminstration, legal costs and all those manhours etc)
TB14 costs £50k a year and the ridership is running at a huge loss - this is where the old dial a ride would be far more effective.
