The consultation didn’t happen in the end. Was taken down rather quickly when local councillors (the same ones that complained about not having a link to Darlington) kicked off massively that people would have to change buses at Sedgefield to reach Stockton and North Tees Hospital. At risk of causing more chaos. An easy fix would be to have the 59 run Hartlepool-Darlington instead of Hartlepool-Durham. Trimdon would loose a direct service to Durham but would gain direct buses back to Aycliffe and Darlington
Not sure cutting the 59 in half would be a good idea mind, it's just robbing Paul to pay Peter that.
