Passenger numbers do appear to be low on the M71 whenever I see it, but the 6 is only hourly and the M71 is the only bus into Tesco car park apart from the free Tesco bus, which provides 1 return journey on Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri, between Newbiggin Hall and Kingston Park Tesco. 

Very surprised to see Nexus keep it running for 1 more year though. Not sure how many years the M71 has been running. It will likely be withdrawn next year. Disappointing they couldn't fund some improvements on the free services instead (and possibly make them not free).
