Lingdale will have 2 buses an hour from the end of March so loosing the Stagecoach services shouldn't be a hardship. Boosbeck and Skelton Green are tricky to fit in
End of the day you can't please everyone and when you listen to some of the moaners, you can't please anyone!
Not sure what they have in mind, and you're right the section over the moors adds time and doesn't get used in Liverton or Moorsholm - but, in a service with very few passengers, it does actually pick up one or two in Liverton Mines to go to Skelton, and I know for a fact a few go between Liverton Mines and Loftus using Stagecoach. They'll go out of their way to use them rather than Arriva, in order to do their bit to boost passenger numbers try and keep the service running.
Ok, they've still got the 5 for those short trips, but it would be a shame for a section of the route that does actually get some patronage to be cut. We'll have to wait and see what happens though.
