Many, many years ago we had a perfect network of buses in East Cleveland. Services 79 and 85 operated Loftus - Redcar/Saltburn while the 78 and 86 did Lingdaie to Redcar/Saltburn. It was an half hourly service throughout the day from early morning to late evening. All services inter-connected at Skelton where it wasn't far to be further connected into service 65 which ran Middlesbrough-Loftus/Whitby. It was in effect a perfect service. Obviously we can't return to such.
