Do we really need a service running from Guisborough to Saltburn ? Would the numbers justify it ? Weekdays it possible to use a 5/X3 combination, it means walking a short way and dependant on services running to time; also bringing back the through ticketing model would be an idea?
Sundays its more complicated? The 5/3 idea works but now there is no direct service into Redcar without adding an extra journey to the above. Sadly the only time I can see such a provision working anything like sustainably is during the summer months when the weather is decent. You can't though run buses on the off chance someone might decide to ride to Redcar.
