imo it creates a hell of a better network giving areas which currently have a piss poor service to Newcastle faster links (Newbiggin) but boosts it from passengers at the East side of Cramlington and reduces the ridiculous number of buses running between Newbiggin and Ashington with a new X21 serving the core areas and everyone else onto a new 41 boosting the number of buses on Gosforth High Street and giving West Cramlington a decent service once the new road actually opens.
Bar the reduction in the 35 around North Seaton and the slightly slower links around where the trains are I'm struggling to see any real negatives but I'm sure there's something I've missed.
