RE: ⚠️ Bus Spotting Safety – Please Read (Gateshead Area) ⚠️
Just reading some of the posts from people's own experiences, it does seem some people in general society would be much better minding their own business, opposed to causing a scene to someone who is just trying to enjoy their hobby.

It is not made any easier, especially if somebody is going through a period of anxiety, or has a hidden disability, which is made worse if somebody becomes confrontational, because they seen you take a photography or video of a vehicle and perceived it the wrong way.

I do firmly believe there's no expectation to privacy in a public place. For instance, if a high profile person is walking around a City Centre, everybody pulls their phone or cameras out to document the occasion, or indeed if something unusual happens, some people do tend to do that aswell. So why is it some people get so jumped up when they see an individual person taking a photo of a bus or train, which does not concern them in the first place???

It does feel overwhelming when you are trying to navigate everyday life, and it sometimes feels very few people are civilised, with other people around constantly under the influence of drink or drugs, vaping or smoking in places they shouldn't.

Groups of youths being unpleasant, and causing anti-social behaviour, which does make you think have they not got any life goals of their own, opposed to just going on a bus or other public place and causing trouble for other people just trying to make a journey, or indeed the driver just doing their job to make a living.

I was on the 56 very recently, and a group of youths on bikes had pulled the emergency exit door from the outside at the traffic lights coming off the High Level Bridge. Then the year on year issues with mostly youths breaking windows of buses, being verbally abusive, putting people's lives at risk. It's very disappointing that they think that's acceptable, and there's no fear of any consequences, because all that is likely to be done is if they are identified they'd be told not to do it again, if even that...
