Further update from GNE this morning
Due to roadworks around Newcastle city centre. we are seeing significant delays of up to 50 mins on services 309, 307 and X39. We are working with the council to reduce delays but please leave extra time for your journey, please check the app for cancellations and real time information.
Stagecoach tweeting similar but they've diverted the 22X through Byker and Chillingham Road (something GNE can't do with the X39 due to its ridiculous amount of stops in Jesmond and Sandyford)
