Aye agreed there, the whole network is looking tired really - especially the 80/90's outdoor stations. The general design, especially the black and exposed concrete has aged horribly imo.
I know it would cost millions so won't be done but really they need rebuild into modern standards - basically like the DLR in London has done over time as the original stations there were grim aswell - at least the major town stations like Wallsend etc anyway.
