I know they haven't left Scotland but if Ember ever came across the border it seems like the ideal route for them to take a punt at. I'm sure there's some demand for an express Middlesbrough - Guisborough - Whitby - Scarborough - Filey - Bridlington - Beverley - Hull service.
I’m not too convinced the point to point demand would actually be there. Realistically the only demand that isn’t actually fully met is Robin Hoods Bay-Whitby-Sandsend as this section has the heaviest loadings along the coast. If there was a suitable turning location in Sandsend, it would be the perfect contender for an Open Top service.
