Oh I don't know you know, I think there'd be quite a bit of demand across Scarborough, people coming from Filey / Hull wanting a day trip to Whitby or whatever. Stop at a few of the caravan sites on the way and imo you've got a little goldmine there.
You could probably fill a bus full of punters from the caravan sites alone on a day trip to Whitby really and some of them you can serve directly off the A165 with the huge Blue Dolphin / Crows Nest being a very short diversion, similar with South Shore to the South of Bridlington.
Agreed about the open top bus between Sandsend and Robin Hoods Bay though.
