Durham had its fair share of just all sorts of vehicle sounds.

Aye see an Allison to me reminds me absolute junk. Whether that's a Metrorider well past it, a Vario full stop, MPD's that were past it, then more recently Solo's which were past it and unreliable as an understatement. It's always been a bit of an Allison graveyard around here.
 
Don't mind a ZF tbf though, but they're quite rare around here nowadays bar E400's which again are complete sheds. Mind with Arriva that's basically every vehicle locally lately.
