Nice to see a workhorse in normal working condition. Yes vehicles look great when they are presented as concourse like many preserved vehicles are, but buses in general don't tend to look pristine day in day out, especially when it's part of a larger fleet, so they can't dedicate as much time to each vehicle to ensure it remains presentable.
I know Arriva North East don't help themselves considering vehicle presentation, it doesn't help that they don't have repainting facilities since the Jesmond paint shop closed long ago, hopefully they might solve this if they ever build a new depot to replace Stockton, but that may seem unlikely / pointless with the threat of franchising coming in.
