I for one looking forward to seeing the Metro develop.i used to live in between Millfield and University Station , but now live down Hartlepool . Train / Metro beats Bus every day of the week where quite a distance is involved. During train strikes before Covid, I had to endure the Arriva 23 service that called at every nook and cranny on the way to Sunderland. Imagine the journey back with a bladder full of lager!
