We still do want them gone, but we also don't want 7401-6/7522/7527/30/33/53/54 even more.
Buses than are condemned on the 1/57/57A or don't move at all, are as useful as a teapot for dealing with the decker issues.
I don't know who is doing allocations but I assume it's a bunch of pen pushers using the year of registration on what stays and ignoring that they're an unreliable piece of junk.
Personally I'd be finding anything with 4 wheels which moves and throwing them at Durham, Blyth and Ashington for the next 12 months and use the huge displacement from Merseyside to get shot of all the 14/64 Plate E400's/B9TL's, most Pulsar's and DB300's. The Streetdeck's being part of it since they're pretty new (maybe a chance to beg Kim for an electric repower?)
