RE: Arriva State of The Fleet
Not gonna lie, The pulsars here in Middlesbrough and East Cleveland are still kind of in great condition and could possibly last another 5 years for some. Some maybe scrap worthy sure, but the majority are in decent working condition. Also, since Stockton took over Redcar's Operations, theres been Pulsars galore out on the X4 and some of the Evoras have been out on 28s, 63s, X3, etc... I don't see the point of scrapping Pulsars though as there will be a tonne of smaller operators who would love to grab some for their operations elsewhere. In regards, to the DB300's, the 2 Park & Ride Ones which Whitby / Redcar had were great and were very often very reliable for the X93/94 services too. I guess they're worse in Northumbria but down here, the 2 were really good. The New E200MMC's and Evoras arriving at Stockton will be interesting too. I do see E200MMC's to be the dominant Single Dec Fleet vehicle going forward and Evoras to be in smaller numbers Like the Streetlites are. I also wonder if we will most likely see Northumbrias, Darlingtons and Durhams Streetlites Cascades in the future when they have their shorter Pulsar Fleets replaced. Which I hope is NOT the case.
