The issue over stock to use is in the hands of the B7's which given the timings have now been relaxed should be able to cope. The issue of not having spare vehicles and maintainance facilities closer to the route, particularly at the Scarborough end remains but much else is out of Arrivas hands ; traffic, weather, roadworks and such like.
I gave them grief yesterday but perhaps they simply didn't expect the world and his friend to want to go to Whitby? My case, for now at least, is closed.
I've long been mystified about how Arriva runs the X93. At least they have solved the capacity issue (sort of) but surely someone there can check the weather forecasts and it is not beyond the wit of man to expect the world and his wife to travel to Whitby and Scarborough on a bank holiday weekend when the weather is fine, and try to anticipate demand accordingly....
