It turned off along Newburn Road at Shield Row (where the 143 used to turn in) and I would love to know what it was for. Is it due to a passenger being unable to board a bus due to that particular run being an Olympian or is it a contract they have?

I believe it's one of those complimentary taxis GNE state on their website if a non-easy access bus prevents a wheelchair user from boarding. I've never heard of it being used for anything else, such as a private party.
