Having searched google, all i can come up with for the " LIME " brand is the old stanhope to the coast railway path was built to ferry materials between the lime kilns in weardale & east castle ( nr greencroft ) to the coast ( sunderland ). The 78 follows as close as possible the old railway line from consett to stanley and lambton lion park to sunderland. The 8 follows as close as possible from stanley to waterview park and hastings hill to sunderland.
