I can see where you are coming from with the 4, but I think it's down to the Branding of the X1 Being Different, Might seem pointless but perhaps Renumbering the X1 to X4 and Re-Branding the "Red Arrows" to "Connections 4 Express", Could be a Clever Marketing move by Go North East.
