Between May and October in 2012 I travelled down to London, by bus, on almost a bi-weekly basis to do Uni work at The National Archive. If that train deal was available at the time, I would have booked it like a shot.
I've never been on a coach for a long time, but as well as the length of journey, it was always how cramped you feel that put me off. At least on a train, 9 times out of 10, you can just get up and go and sit in a quieter part. It's not uncommon for me to have a 4 seat table block to myself when I do the ECML...
