Tail wags in joy when a crumb, just a dot
Lands on the pavement, in her wide open gob
A fiver is a rare treat, enough for a day

I was really pleased with the feedback I got
- the teacher I had for English in Years 7 and 8 asked me to send it to him for him to put on display. The assessment itself was actually to write about 'Valentine' by Carol Ann Duffy and 'Sonnet 130' by William Shakespeare. A lot of people in the class seem to think I'm some sort of poetry genius - purely because I'm the only one who knows what to do (for a Set 1 class, it's pretty worrying!). Anyway, as we're doing Sonnets (if you don't know what one is, it's basically just one stanza with 14 lines, 10 syllables per each, and at Line 9 the topic either changes from positive to negative or negative to positive!), but I just couldn't bothered so I just did my own thing once I'd finished all of the work that had been set. Pretty pleased with what came out. If you can work out what the poem is about, although it is pretty obvious, I'll give you a prize! (nothing much, tbh!
