Four adults who had arrived to catch the 44 past Arriva decided to catch the train instead, and another passenger had missed the 44 past and had to wait for 48 minutes for the next one at 32 past.
I understand why Arriva has deleted the 25 minute layover wait in Hexham in favour of an immediate turnaround but it will mean losing passengers to GNE IMO (though those wanting to access the north bank of the Tyne east from Corbridge will have to catch the Arriva of course).
