Think I might just do my trip as it is to Hexham, then get on the 685 that I would of got on in Haltwhistle at Hexham and continue on towards Carlisle, Or Alternatively go straight to Carlisle and drop off at Hexham on the way back.
Maybe not, but you can only go from the horses mouth if in doubt.
