Although I don't like the new branding, I do think it is an improvement on the last branding. I thought the same about the last branding compared to the original branding, too, so at least we're heading in the right direction if nothing else?

I do think the Kingston Park puns have been over-used, though. Perhaps rightly so, one could argue, as I believe the X47 offers the fastest journey time between Newcastle and Kingston Park, with the Metro taking a few minutes more (when they don't bunch up in twos and threes, that is)?

We classing that old X47 on the side and back windows that looked like a BOGOF promotion as branding?

Definitely better than that, but to me this new branding just seems a bit dull and doesn't grab much attention to it which to me is the whole point of route branding and the whole KING plastered over the bus is a bit OTT.
