Must be noted that the Enviro200s South Shields will receive are manufactured by ADL, potentially replacing MAN Enviro200s. The examples Hartlepool have at present are manufactured by MAN. Hartlepool having practically an entire fleet of MAN Enviro200s assists with depot standardisation and will allow greater leniency with allocations.
don't know about profitable, the 3 and 4 (if they are getting them) are my local service, they interwork with the 7 and 8, which interestingly all 4 services main destinations are areas which are not served by Go North East, mainly Biddick Hall and Marsden. So the passengers have no option but to use these services to get to and from the Town Centre.  Whatever happened to completion, where are all the competitors?
