The rumour about EV’s on the 32/32A started back end of last year so maybe there’s a plan maybe take some from someone else’s order. They need to do something the E200’s they use on them now are horrible so I’m hoping EV’s are still coming.

Well it appears 19678 is now at Slatyford as well

Probably cover as the rest of our buses are falling to bits. What doesn’t make sense is we got that yet 27727 has gone to South Shields by the looks of it. Slatyford don’t make sense half the time.

I know and it’s not even out at Slatyford. They swap and change buses all the time Slatyford and walkergate. I mean look at 37315 that went and came back now with 19678 and 19386 came back to Slatyford and it’s not even out
RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News
Oh so 37315 has gone back now, that's good, but shame if Walkergate have lost 19678. 37315 wasn't a big success on the 37, last Monday we had to run none stop from Freemann Hospital Main Stop - John Dobson Street as bus full, wasn't even peak time.

37 is generally fine with an Enviro 300, but not an Enviro 200.

Does anyone know what the White Mercedes Sprinters parked up at Walkergate are for, not sure if they were Buses or Maintenance Vans as seen approx five of them as I passed on the 900 this afternoon parked over on the back wall adjacent to the Metro line.

There’s something going on at Slatyford. No recent repaints in 3 months the last being 36472. A lot of Hartlepools buses are being painted and older than Slatyford’s! Yes 27727 got repainted the other day but they’ve sent it to South Shields and it’s now showing on the internal fleet list as a South Shields bus. Sending buses out with odd panels, messy livery’s. 26068 been off the road almost a year now 25th February 2025 needed a new engine, doesn’t take a year to fit an engine! 26063 been off the road since November 8th had new panels fitted then colour matched with Beachball and now sitting around doing nothing. Chargers going in on the back yard for the 30/31/36 E12’s then the shed is coming down, for more chargers? Who knows! It looks like it’s heading that way. Buses being left to decline constantly, why invest in them if they’re planning to replace them. People might think I’m crazy for thinking this but it genuinely makes sense. They can then send all of Slatyford’s MMC’s to Walkergate replace the 58/60 plate E400’s and maybe the 26***’s to Walkergate to replace the 11 plate E300’s

I couldn’t agree with this more. Slatyford is going down hill everyday there’s more and more buses of the road now we have lost 10640 for go knows how long so we are probably going to need another bus from walkergate. Really walkergates mmcs should go Slatyford and Slatyfords to walkergate. The 685 is killing the 262s and the 6/7 nearly everyday a bus breaks down on 685 106s are really struggling e200s are rubbish nothing about them at all e200mmcs are slow as they really need to do something about it

Plus 26289 has been of the road since 17th January and 26292 been of the road since 31st January
RE: Stagecoach North East Latest News
There maybe a reason why Hartlepool are quickly painting buses out of the swirly livery, and I think it's down to the bus washing causing the white in the livery to gain a tint of dirty orange / rust. Where as the Dark Despair livery won't show it as badly.

36084 is seen on Saturday showing the very weathered swirly livery - https://www.flickr.com/photos/gjm-photog...5096096578

Community Transport buses.

They seem to park them at the Stagecoach depot.

Yeah there’s loads in there, their drivers park on the road outside the depot don’t think they’re allowed inside the actual building bit like when they allowed Arriva to use the yard. Wonder how long they’re allowed to use the yard to park their minibuses
