After the failure of the City of Culture 2025 bid, 5401 has been hidden away today up at Consett and spent today on the V1 / V2 routes.

TBH it was a similar reason why Newcastle Gateshead didn't win it a few years ago as apparently Liverpool needed the money more.

The reality came in a message yesterday, Durham City didn't lose the bid, Durham County did.
