Saw a Gemini on the X21 earlier, think it would have been the 17.39 out of Haymarket, assuming it was early when I saw it. 

Durham's 1469 working for Stockton today on X12 on the 0950 Durham-Middlesbrough, albeit running very late. It replaced 1457 which broke down somewhere up that way. It was replaced itself in Middlesbrough in order to send the 1105 one out on time. Didn't get used the rest of the day as far as I'm aware (it has Durham's screens in anyway...). Whether it's gone back to Durham I don't know.

As has already been stated the pulsar looks well in Max colours also good to see that one of the old style 09 reg buses has been used as the old style colours need to be phased out

They do look smart, although I'm not sure about the bluey green colour for the backs of the seats on 1416.

Pulsar 1492 spent the majority of the day on Sapphire 5 today. It replaced 1554 at 1005.
Redcar meanwhile had deckers 7485 and 7486 on 81 (as usual)

Wish I knew whether it's Sunday or Monday so I know whether to head to Middlesbrough on Sunday or not (as well as Sunderland!)

Not sure if I'm thinking of the same thing, but whenever they do service changes don't they say 'from Sunday the 16th of October', etc?

You might see them out on Sunday because in some ways it can be seen as a service change.

Yep, new timetable starts on Sunday so you would hope they would be out on Sunday.

I'm kind of hoping they aren't in service Sunday is already all over the place for me as I'll be wanting some of the changes in Sunderland and it's already a faff fitting that in especially on a Sunday when there is less buses.

Even if they do enter service on Sunday, if you're only going to Middlesbrough or Guisborough I'd leave it until Monday as they are only every 2 hours between Whitby and Middlesbrough (0920 1020 1220 1420 1620 1820 1920 from Middlesbrough).

EDIT: That and only 4 of the 6 will be used on Sunday, while 5 should be out on Monday (and maybe a sixth sat spare in Whitby Bus Station).

I know and it's a total pain as the earliest one I could photo would be the 1220 as the first bus to Darlington arrives at Harrowgate Hill a few minutes after the X66. Also I want some of the GNE changes on Sunday. Also it's not really possible to head to/from Middlesbrough to Sunderland on a Sunday.

One X14 is a MAX decker (interworks with 14), and the other a MPD (interworks with 33/57A).
