Would have been that one then. Was trying to ID it from quite a distance!

I assume the X34 will be operated by MAN ALX300s and/or ADL E300s today to allow the E400s to be on the "E" services.
19197 likewise.

It appears 22050 may have broken down whilst operating an Economic service as it is stationary without a driver, and not parked with the rest of the buses.

Or it could be a spare bus

Would have made sense to park it with the rest...

I'm on 27731 on the E1. Which caused chaos when the bus was full after about three stops. Could they not borrow some of Newcastle's Enviro 400 when the Airshow is on. It would be easier

I'd assume if they hadn't sent some up to Glasgow, then that could have been an option...

Stockton hasn't even sent Olympians up this year, and I suspect that's down to Walkergate having their Tridents.

Sunderland operated all minus one board, which was covered by a Newcastle E400. It's usually at least four Olympians, one or two E400s and the rest ALX300s from Sunderland - today all minus two of Sunderland's ALX300s I believe.

Saw an Enviro300 on this morning.

Saw ALX300 MAN, 22672 putting in an appearance on the Airshow service around 14.30 in Fawcett Street.

Odd! I saw that one in the depot with 22673 earlier - they were pretty much the only buses in the depot, with four gas buses making up the other vehicles left.

Wonder what it replaced - anyone have any ideas?

22079 was also on there, as well as 22214/15.
Believe another one of the DDA compliant ones was on too, and given that 22673/674 were in the depot earlier, I dread to think what was on service 12!

I saw 22082 on 510 too. Just one double decker on the 510 then

(26 Jul 2014, 4:24 pm)AIG20 wrote Apparently one of the vehicles (presumably an ADL E300 or MAN ALX300) working the X34 from Pilgrim Street broke down this afternoon and a replacement vehicle was sent - according to the SNE Twitter page.

22050 had a water leak but was soon fixed later in the day.

Still haven't seen 22409 for a while and today's wandering Enviro300 was on the X82 rather than the X47 where one is semi regularly to be found lately.
