The ones that make me cringe is names like Hope and Destiny - was in Morrisons at Bishop Auckland one day and heard some chavy lass who couldn't find her child so she was stood in the middle of the supermarket shouting "Destiny, Destiny where are you?"

Just seen an advert for Hostelworld, in this advert we see some students get naked on some rocks and jump into some water... Probably not the best time to air this advert considering the story that has been headline news this week is students get naked on sacred mountain.

Must be a slow news week when headline news is "students get naked"

Just because I dislike a place, it doesn't mean I can't attend a bus rally, and I'm only there for an hour or so...

Why do you dislike Durham so much? I just can't understand why you hate the place so much.

I don't actually know, it's just one of those places which doesn't excite me...

I could say that about Sunderland, Birtley (where I live), Bishop Auckland.... But I still go.

What if you get a job offer in Durham? Would you not go because it doesn't excite you?

It's a fair point, most places I go aren't exciting especially the likes of Bishop Auckland and I will still go all the time. I'm even going to be in Pickering for over an hour and a half in a few weeks time and there won't be much going on (bus wise) especially as it's a Sunday.

I think you should try and get Davie to stay in Durham as long as possible to try and get him to change his mind about Durham.

To be brutally honest and I dont actually know why, but Wrekenton doesnt excite me at all whatsoever.

Durham on the other hand is a Beautiful City with amazing Architecture and Spots/Backdrops which make for some fantastic Photographs, no matter where you are standing providing you have a decent quality camera at your disposal.

I've only been through Wrekenton twice and it doesn't look exciting.

Quite right about Durham, there is some cracking spots for photos in and around Durham, especially if like me you know your way round. I do like to try different spots around Durham at times as there is some good scenery for photos and it also decreases the chances of people I know spotting me in Durham which often seems to happen. I'll be in Durham and Chester-le-Street early on Saturday morning getting photos of the GNE shuttles to the Emirates for the cricket.

Its because he's scared of the river wear as swans have died in it it was the same excuse for not going to the Tyne Tees Run.

Better not tell him students have died after ending up in the Wear.

Just don't go near the river!

That was at Chester though - not Durham.
Or has he not been to Chester either?

I hate the jobsworths at Nexus, but I still use Metro, use the ferry and interchange at interchanges.
