That is just the website mock-up. Could look very different on the bus itself!

No, they are not early, actually a couple of days late!!

5396 was delayed at the factory, it should have arrived a lot earlier than it did.

.....a bit harsh.  Unfortunately you do not see what goes on behind the scenes, and if you did you may not call people pillocks.

I wouldn't go that far, but it isn't good at all.

I don't think it's actually bad, What you have to remember is Go North East will probably get a professional in to design it and to br honest mate, (I don't mean to offend you and I apologise if I do) but I don't think you could do a better job.

Are you just waiting till Sunday to update all the fleet lists?

GNE's own multi trip products have been accepted since the days of Peter Huntley. If I recall correctly, there was an uproar on Facebook one year about them not being, and GNE positively reacted to this by making them valid.

It'd appear the stance on day rovers and network one tickets hasn't changed, but Stagecoach's 510 shuttle will accept those and ENCTS passes.

Yeah, it's easier to do them all in one go when I have a bit of time. Smile

=D, i'm not sure if its being asked, is 618 the MPD which will still transfer over to Hexham for the when the Tynedale Links PVR increases with the upcoming changes or will that be used only scholars only?

Funny you mention 618 (NK55 RUV)... It headed west to Hexham this morning from Thorntons, after being fitted with seatbelts for scholars.

As this one is a 'normal bus', I'd imagine that there would be a bit more flexibility with it and it could end up being thrown on normal public services.

Ah right, So will only Deptford receive the Youngest MPD's from Peterlee to replace the 52 Reg ones?

No, they go to the local primary school and select the best drawing from the Year 1 class!

All jokes aside - hasn't Stagecoach done this regularly for their branding in the past..?

Haven't they just ask for schools in Newcastle to design a new brand for them?

How many B10's will be withdrawn this week for changes, with the buses coming off the X40?

Remember that the revised Quaylink will only see the combined PVR of existing services 51/52, Q1/Q2 and X40 reduce by one vehicle (hence why 8328 has been repainted red).

I doubt we'll see a Volvo B10BLE withdrawn as a consequence (yet); after all, three of Riverside's Volvo B10BLEs (4901, 4902 and 4916) were recently sighted at Thorntons, so they'll need to keep some spare buses on to cover for these...  Angel

Oh right, thought we might of seen a bigger drop!

Why are 4901, 4902 and 4916 at Thortons?

If some B10BLEs ends up being withdrawn when those three return; I'm going to guess 4841 and 4843 will be withdrawn. Then a shuffle around could send a younger example to Deptford, and 4842 to be withdrawn.

Modifications to become DDA Compliant possibly.

Aye. Can't see them getting all of those renowns withdrawn by January 2016. Even through new vehicles and cascades.

It is achievable I would say to get them all Withdrawn by January 2016, but there would have to be another big investment in current fleet to do so by Go North East first.

I would guess 4896 to 4925 would be the ones to be Modified, woouldnt think they would all get done though, then 4841/42/43 and the Ex Oxford/Arriva Renowns all get Withdrawn.

I highly doubt the Ex Oxford B10s will get withdrawn first, As these are DDA? so will probably be one of the last to get withdrawn.

Annoyingly, an all too often occurrence in the world. It's too easy for people to call others names for doing their job (and doing it effectively), without actually knowing what their role entails. A classic case of engaging mouth before brain.

Heck, us techies just sit switching everything off and back on all day...  Rolleyes

I'm all for it, in conjunction with a wider marketing strategy. It's never a bad thing to engage the local community, and especially the schools. We've done it before for naming competitions and such.

Could that not be done at Saltmeadows like the Diamond Citaros? (Providing the conversions are being done at Saltmeadows)
