Well its in the middle section of shields depot looking rather sorry for itself..... have noted 37317,37318 and also 19643 in service

52/58 once again are interworking during the morning peak
One working on the 39 from tomorrow (assuming Macmillan don't go back until then) will be booked for Trident operation after working a 203 from Easterside so I understand
(02 Sep 2015, 8:41 pm)Kuyoyo wrote BIB: appears just 1 52 board covers early 58s (and I think the new early 61 as well if so) and likewise one 58 board works a 52 (or from the looks of it, 1 and a half trips).
BII: the decker turn on the 39 operates from 0830 until 1430 before it returns to the depot to be collected for afternoon schools

Can now confirm the 0546 61 from Stockton and the 0600 return from Elton Park, plus the 0614 0644 0717 and 0757 58s are on a 52 board (and the bus is out until 2348 at the Owington Farm)
Likewise, the 0637 52 from Tunstall Avenue to Stockton, the 0720 from Stockton and 0751 return trips are on a 58 turn

And 16834 still going strong.

What does Stagecoach need to do with the Tridents to make them DDA?, just fit a manual ramp in?

Ramps dont need to be manual to be DDA compliant. They are just more reliable (the reason for GNE opting to replace all electric ramps)

Wouldn't they have to replace the bench seats with individual seats?

Even though this was never meant to be the last Euro 5 Enviro200 Old Design going into service with Stagecoach, due to the delay of the delivery of them means this should be the last Euro 5 E200 into service with Stagecoach ( unless I missed something out? ) making this one a interesting vehicle and maybe a preservation candidate in years to come.

Back door open at Stagecoach Stockton at about 10.30. this morning - SN65OCB/OCC/OCM on view for anyone to see - no fleet numbers visible. The Fuhrer will likely be rather unhappy that some of his precious new buses have been seen by a mere mortal!
Out of interest does anyone know the fleet numbers for these three, or is that going to breach a higher level of security?

In total how mean new Enviro 300 for Stockton have come. And have they been any deliveries yet.
RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - September 2015
5 E300s are now at Stockton. As its now viynled up, one of those is 27238 (SN65 OBY). SN65 OCA is the fifth example.

Yesterday was the first Saturday of Stagecoach on Teesside's modified 12/39 operation and as such the following workings:

The extra 39 vehicle arrives in Middlesbrough at 1000-ish but doesn't start in service on the 1053 to Park End. It then does 5 trips
12 and 39 still interwork on Saturday mornings with the last 12 vehicle working the 1104 39 from Park End while the last 39 off a 12 is the 1129 39

According to a member of the "Stagecoach Enthusiasts" Facebook Group, the X34 vehicle PVR will increase from 3 to 5 vehicles when the frequency is increased to every 20 minutes. This means that two vehicles, most likely (presumably) MAN E200 39701 and a MAN ALX300, will be cascaded elsewhere as south shields are apparently definitely getting all 7 ex-Scotland ADL E400s.

Don't presume anything - I can't see anything bar 19196/7 leaving South Shields. After all, the decker PVR is increasing but the single decker one isn't reducing.

Equally, I can't see the sense in increasing the spare vehicle percentage at South Shields if additional spare vehicles are not required?

It would make sense in my eyes to have two spare ADL Enviro400s replacing two spare ADL Enviro300s on the 'E' group of services (27723/24), with these in turn replacing the aforementioned MAN E200 and ALX300..? We see Arriva and Go North East replacing single-deck spares with double-deck spares regularly, so I can't see why Stagecoach couldn't do this.

Which then defeats the object of having a fully decker-operated X34 if it has to share the 2 spare examples with the Es.

No it doesn't..?

The preferred output for Go North East's 8/78 and 45/46 services at Stanley Depot are "Coast & Country" and "Red Kite" branded Streetlites. Stanley Depot has two corporate liveried spare Streetlites which should be used in the first instance to provide a consistent level of 'premium service' being provided by Go North East. In the event that no branded vehicles are unavailable, the two corporate liveried Streetlites form the main allocation of services 128 and X43 on Saturdays - but only if they are not required to cover for branded vehicles on the services for which they were ordered.

Of course, this means that should something go wrong during the day, the spare Streetlites won't be sitting around waiting to be allocated to services 8/78 or 45/46. This is why Chester-le-Street should allocate their spare Streetlite to service 34 to cover for a branded Versa, as it keeps the bus fairly local.

Are you telling me that Stagecoach are going to allow two five year old ADL Enviro400s to sit in the depot all day on a "just in case" basis - or will they slip onto other services when they aren't required on the X34? I know which one I'd put money on!

Hi why you on about double decker's how come stagecoach on Teesside have not sold last 2 Volvo Olympian yet are they keep them instead or are they going to replace them with 2 more Dennis trident.

Hull kept hold of the last 4 that were meant to be coming so Stockton had no option but to hang onto 2 of the Olympians - last summer the PVR for the Macmillan school services dropped from 8 to 6 so they have kept the best 2 Olympians as spares to backup the 6 Tridents.
I am sure when two suitable replacements are available they'll take some.

Agree. (seeing as for some reason we can't 'like' now).
