They will somehow find their way to my radar of Slatyford and Walkergate Angel
RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2015
22011-3 are reportedly leaving Stockton for Slatyford (22012 already has done, the other two may also have moved). The rest sound likely to be staying at Stockton however not all as part of the active fleet.

34401 is also staying in the North East fleet in a reserve allocation - depot not yet confirmed. Hartlepool's 34568/9 have already departed for West Scotland while 34606 will follow once repairs are completed. 34566/608 have entered service at Stagecoach South's Guildford depot.

Probably part funded at first but if it can break even, then Cobalt will support the service in other ways (more Cobalt etc) but not perhaps in financial terms.

Did Stagecoach Sunderland ever release the results from the questionnaire they did about the gas buses?

I've just found the questionnaire among my timetables.

Looks as if the 07.11 36 ex Hartlepool (08.33 into Mbro) is now a double decker working mon-Friday as is the 08.38 37 (as far as the DWP in Stockton) 17027 yesterday and today.

**after speaking with a duty manager this is now a booked working to help with overcrowding**

Shame they don't leave it on all day. And another dozen of them. Everyone was complaining the one I was on last week packed like sardines.

One does a 39 between morning and afternoon college duties, apart from that its just pot luck finding them really. The 13 probably the most likely. Rare to find them on 52s now unfortunately since the Dots have arrived.

Yes, the E300s never used to be against the fence.

I maybe should have pointed this out a while back but as its a Saturday and it may have happened today I might as well.

The 0632 37 from Middlesbrough to North Tees Hospital and the 0700 from North Tees to Stockton Royal Oak are likely to throw up a 'Connecting The Dots' E300 as these trips are on the front of a 59 RTC, working the 0720 59 from Stockton.

Which whether you like it or not (and lets not fall out) makes a mockery of the dots vinyls

Does it though? There are several cases at Go North East and Arriva where a branded vehicle is scheduled to go onto another service. Does that mak a mockery of those vinyls too?

I may have misunderstood your post but thats my take on it.

I think it should be avoided whenever possible, as it does to a degree make a mockery of route branding, but the systems in place will build running boards so that they are efficient as possible (meaning that there will always be instances of branded vehicles being scheduled to operate the wrong services).

Running different brands on different services can also be a good thing... it could let people know they have a service to the area they need, might even get a few new passengers... example can be yesterday when a "Wear Tees Express" was on the 33/33A/39.... how many people who used those services now know we have a bus to Boro or other than the X35 to Peterlee?.

There's also a few other 'wrong brand' workings for Stagecoach on Teesside as well, both 'The Zone':

[*]The 0515 39 from Park End works onto the 0532 37 Monday to Saturday
[*]The 0536 12 from Hemlington to Coulby Newham and the 0545 from Coulby Newham works onto the 0632 37 Monday to Friday
[*]The 364 school run is on a 36/37 as well

Previous ones included 36-branded MANviros working half a 52 (Monday-Friday), half a 14 (Monday-Saturday - then onto the Brus Shops 36), 794s (Saturdays) and half an 11 (Saturdays). Then there were 37-branded ALXs working 14s and the weekday morning 36A.

It works however the best way the programme brings up. That 37 we are discussing runs a minute in-front of a 36 towards Stockton from the Red Lion (arrives in Stockton 2 minutes before the 36 is due off the Royal Oak) so you are restricted to what it could work onto. Otherwise you end up like Arriva's Saturday morning boards where buses are running light from Middlesbrough to here there and everywhere (or even doing a run to one part of Middlesbrough then going light from there to somewhere else)
RE: Stagecoach North East: Latest News & Discussion - October 2015
27243 (SN65 OCD) has entered service today on the 59/61 fully branded. 27253 is now the only one yet to be in service.
